"I went with it. I wasn't going to argue with her."

So. Damn. Canadian.

Kind of damn Boston too. The toll takers on the Mass Pike used to lecture people about how to hand them the money.

Is it unusual for a NFL team to have two Thursday games in a row?

I think this is the second year that two teams from Thanksgiving Day played on the next Thursday.

Back in the day, when Dallas was good they loved winning on Thanksgiving and having three extra days to prepare for the next game.

For some reason, burned into my memory forever is the sight of John Madden and Nate Newton on the field in Dallas, fully ensconced in post-game turkey. Madden liked being around food almost as much as he liked being around guys who are even bigger then he is.

Former MLB player, Blue Jays broadcaster, and Don-Cherry-wannabe Gregg Zaun has been let go by the Sportsnet media company after "sexual misconduct".

No tears shed here as he was not a favourite of mine. His support of hazing of young players is despicable.
