Given the cultural moment we're in, where the recognition of sexual abuse victims is at an all-time high, NBC's decision to use a registered sex offender in a Thanksgiving NFL game promo is unbelievable.

Can't wait to hear the official explanation for this from the Peacock.

Glad I wasn't the only person who thought that, rcade. Tone deaf, even by sports TV standards.

Wasn't it also NBC that had a little girl in a Ravens jersey get into an elevator in a parking garage with a Baltimore Ravens player as part of a pre-game intro?

And that Ravens player happened to be Ray "sell out my two friends so I can plea out of murder charges" Lewis?
