What has gotten into the Boston College football program? Someone must have put nitroglycerine in the holy water.

The last 3 weeks they have been a juggernaut, first putting up tons of points against Louisville, then throttling Virginia and FSU to produce lopsided scores. And that's after three straight losses earlier in the season. Their upcoming game against NC State is actually going to be a big deal. Who knew?

Yes, BC is becoming a thorn in everyone's side in the ACC this season, but I also think it's partly due to Louisville, the Hoos, and FSU not playing good football right now.

This also kind of brings down NC State's successes this year as well. Maybe the Wolfpack team that lost to South Carolina really is who they are. /sigh /typical NC State fan

L'ville and FSU are playing far below expectations, but UVA is playing way better than anyone expected, although still not "good".

Lion's comment is proving true in real time -

At the half:

- Wake 28 Louisville 10

- Pitt 21 Virginia 7

For us Va. fans, the likelihood of going to some sort of bowl plus beating both UNC and Duke is a welcome change of fortunes that will offset the inevitability of losing to Va Tech.

Yeah, but I think today was our last best chance at reaching bowl eligibility. We'd have to pull off a major upset in any of the last 4 games to get to 6 wins.

Although maybe Louisville isn't such a huge upset any more. Otherwise, they still have Tech, Miami and Ga. Tech to go after today. Yeesh.

Cavs no doubt look back on the Indiana game as a missed opportunity.

I wish they had a week off before Ga. Tech so they could spend extra time preparing for the GT offense.
