You couldn't do that if you tried again a thousand times.

The Philadelphia Phillies finished the season with a .389 win percentage (63-99) for 2015.
They were the worst team in baseball.

Philadelphia 76'ers :
15-37 in the 2015 portion of last season.
0-16 to start this season.
18 games remaining in this calendar year.
Even if they won all of them, they'd finish the calendar year with a .384 winning percentage.

I started going to the Lions Thanksgiving game three years ago. The Lions have won three straight on Thanksgiving (after losing nine straight). Coincidence or cosmic powers at work?

Both cosmic and earthly forces are at work. It's a cyclical phenomenon that began in 1998 with the overtime coin toss, supernaturally officiated by the immortal Phil Luckett.
