Chelsea Mourinho's post-game presser today was like none I've seen before in the Premier League. He gave 12 answers in a row that were a variation on "I have nothing to say." It was Marshawn-esque.

Positively Lynchian, rcade.

But what a pair of goals from Coutinho.

That final New Zealand try was a really spectacular dagger.

Nebraska currently being handled by 1-5 Purdue. Don't know what the Huskers were thinking when they hired Mike Riley.

Someone has edited Wikipedia to state that Riley was fired today, but can't confirm that elsewhere at the moment. May be a holiday trick.

Noah "Thor" Syndergaard's quote about his high-and-tight opening pitch to Alcides Escobar:

I mean, I certainly wasn't trying to hit the guy, that's for sure. I just didn't want him getting too comfortable. If they have a problem with me throwing inside, then they can meet me 60 feet, 6 inches away. I've got no problem with that.

At 6'6", I don't think TOO many batters are going to be excited about charging the mound when Syndergaard says that.

New Zealands Sonny Boy Williams is my new favourite rugby player, after giving his medal away to a nipper who had fallen foul of a shithouse security man

I don't think pitchers have much to fear any more about a batter charging the mound to kick their ass. The gathering of millionaires isn't quite the bare-knuckles brawl that we used to see in the 1970s and before.

quote about his high-and-tight opening pitch to Alcides Escobar:

Pretty easy for him to throw at the batters head when surrounded by his guys. Pussy move.

Got a batter who is honed in on the plate? A few inside pitches are in order. Throwing at a batter's head on the first pitch is trash.

Time for a rule where the batter gets first base and the pitcher takes an early shower for that kind of crap.

Guess who specifically never played in the World Series? Mondesi's father, Raul R. Mondesi, who appeared in 1,525 regular-season games and never even made it to a Championship Series round. Meanwhile, his son has already been in a World Series.

They're sure to be more insufferable than ever for the next four years.

Chelsea Mourinho's post-game presser today was like none I've seen before in the Premier League.

They were showing it before Everton's game on Sunday and I used it as an opportunity to test my daughter's emotional intelligence. I showed her the man with a smile on his face and asked, "Is that man happy?" Her response: "This guy mean."
