Little help? Apologies for the link title.: I got nothing here, but I used to exist on this website. One of my favorite things was the CD swap that we did a few times. It was a blast. Goddam introduced me to the best song ever performed about basketball.

There was a guy named owlhouse who send me the - no shit - the best cd ever. It was pretty Australia-specific. I\\\'ve since heard \\\"Love this city\\\" a few times and I always think about how great that cd was. Great song! And that was the shittiest song on that CD.

There was a song by the Warumpi band that was so no bullshit and bad ass and I can\\\'t find it anywhere. Owlhouse, if you\\\'re still out there anywhere, please tell the world where to find that Warumpi band song.

Sorry for busting in here. I hope everyone is doing well.

Sammy's Idle Threat! I remember owlhouse's CD: Midnight Oil, Radio Birdman, and all kinds of stuff I had never heard of before. I also remember that I procrastinated like crazy for the second CD swap and never did send out my promised CDs.

Hi Guys

Glad you liked the CDs. The Warumpis three released albums should be on iTunes. I think the song on the CD swap was "Warumpinya" from the album Big Name No Blankets, at least that's what my ancient track list notes say.

I have a Neil Murray story from when I met him a few years later at the Byron Bay Writers Festival. But that can wait for when we all get together over a beer.

There was quite a bit of Australiana on those CDs, eh?

Shit. I still owe some of you CDs from the last swap.

I feel shame.

Warumpis (from the YT clip) like Status Quo to me ;) Lover how the singer stops to take a water break and then restarts the song.
