USA 1-1 Panama: The US Men were pretty poor across the board last night but having already clinched their group the result itself was unimportant.

Standing out like an overripe piece of fruit on a white marble counter, though, was an amazingly biased performance from referee Ricardo Garcia who overlooked critical calls over most of the 90 minutes. CONCACAF need to explain why a Mexican referee was assigned to an important USA game.

What's worse than not winning? Not deserving to win. Although Tejada may have been offside when Perez gave him the ball before scoring, we didn't play well enough on the night to warrant anything better than a draw and may not have warranted that much. Guzan was big for us.

With both Donald Trump and Chapo Guzman now roaming at large, regional fairness is bound to be among the first casualties.

@beaverboard ???

@ricardo Hard to argue with you, though if the ref makes the offside call on Panama's goal and Bedoya being brought down just outside the box (with yellow/red card to defender) I can probably try.

Panama is still pretty pissed about that WC qualification match.
