It kills me that CNN is using Bleacher Report for its sports news. Here's an excerpt of how it reported* John Elway's son being arrested for a domestic violence incident:
"Unfortunately, he is now in legal trouble that could hurt his reputation. In addition, any negative news such as this will inevitably bring his father into the spotlight due to John Elway's status around the NFL. ...
"Whether this situation will reflect negatively on the elder Elway in any way is unclear. While Jack doesn't have a history of legal issues, any arrest will be magnified due to the popularity of his father.

In college if you called my phone (and no one ever did), the answering message was an exchange between Shaft and Bumpy Jonas:
"Where'd you get this number?"

Kolkata runs down Punjab's 199 to win this year's Indian Premier League.
Thankfully, Sportsnet reran this last night on one of the channels in my cable package, and I got to watch the last hour of the match. The last two overs were lots of fun to watch, even though I knew the outcome.
Now, if someone could point me to an online store that will ship to North America where I can purchase an IPL jersey, I would greatly appreciate it.
(I have an old India ODI jersey, but I'd like to add an IPL jersey to my collection.)

It seems completely unfathomable to me that a major money league like the IPL wouldn't have a merchandise store set up on their website, or even a licencing agreement with some other company to produce/sell team jerseys and (and other memorabilia/knick-knacks).
I want to buy a jersey (KKR, Chennai SK, Hyderabad DC, Dehli DD all have nice colours/styles). Take my money!

I need more colours.
(And let me know if the KXIP twitter thing gets you anywhere. I sent an email through the IPL website under "feedback" that essentially says "I want to give you (North American) money, why won't you take it?"
