Really enjoyed this. I think one of the interesting things about football right now is so many of the stars are so flawed and how that affects our perception/ interest in rooting for them. Luis Suarez is the best example, but Ronaldo, Zlatan, Ribery are drawn in shades of grey. Do we enjoy their brilliance anyway or long for the days of less-flawed heroes like Anelka?
