Just looking over today's slate of NFL games. Do the Jags have the toughest schedule in the NFL? Sure seems like it. When are they going to get to play New Mexico State? Everyone needs a cake game once in a while.

Unfortunately, the Jags can't play themselves, so there is no "cake game" on their schedule.

For the most part, the AFC West hit the scheduling jackpot this year. And if you're the Chiefs, coming in last place last year, it's even easier.

The Jaguars play Houston twice, host Arizona and go to Cleveland. With all the confidence a Jacksonville fan can muster, I feel like there's a win in one of those games.

The paying customers at Wembley have the advantage of not seeing many NFL games in the flesh, or in their timezone, but I think this one may only be enjoyable to people who have never seen the sport before. The people who got Pittsburgh-Minnesota tickets must be feeling pretty happy about their choice.

I know there's Reasons for sending Jax to London, but who thought that the best way to sell a game in a country that loves 1-0 soccer duels was to send a pretty good SF team to pants the Jags so relentlessly?

The Lions became only the second team ever to win with a -4 turnover margin. The Cowboys took a killer holding penalty on third down that stopped the clock and let the Lions get the ball back with a minute left.

The Cowboys' commitment to a .500 record is impressive.

That Lions-Cowboys game (particularly its last three or four minutes) was brutal to watch, for this Lions fan.

What amazed me about the "2nd team to win with -4 turnovers" was that the 1st time it happened was less than a year ago.

Also, Calvin Johnson has the second best yardage day in NFL history and scores only one TD, considerately leaving three other receptions inside the 5 for someone else's fantasy team to pick up.

The Lions won today because my 3 year old jumped in my lap and started doing some impressive lion roars (happy lion roars) during that final drive. God bless that lion loving kid.

He has a bright future ahead of him. The last time the Lions won a playoff game (against the Cowboys coincidently) my dad had me in the room at 1 year old cheering for touchdowns.
