Griffey Out for the year.: See you next year kid.

Are Griffey and Grant Hill the same player? Great Hall of Fame type starts to each of their careers. Then they switch teams and injuries chip away at their legacy. Too bad to see talent lost like that.

He was just starting to roll too, Jr had homered in the last 6 games he appeared in.

Griffey 'The Kid' was and still is one easy player to root for. With all of these surgerys, I hope he comes back as the bionic man and shows Barry Bonds a thing or two about hitting with class.

From the "be careful what you wish for" category. As a lifelong Reds fan, I was elated when they traded for Junior. And though it's certainly not all his fault, the deal has turned out to be a complete bust. The silver lining in this is that Jose Guillen, their best hitter this year, finally gets to play every day.

Mike Cameron is healthy and playing fairly well. Looks like the M's got the best of that deal.
