I got this at the New York Mets spring training game in Port St. Lucie last night. And not just because it was the only food vendor with no line.

I know, I know. It's really serious.

You went all the way to Port St. Lucie to watch the Mets? That's more than a 4 hour drive from Jax. Hopefully you were in Vero on business or something.

The taco is unreal. One of those should be on display at Ripley's.

Phil Jackson made his first tweet last night.

I presume it came some distance after his first drink.

Presidential NCAA bracket sliding downhill on 16th Street toward Pennsylvania Ave. at a quickening pace.

Beaverboard, that's true for almost everyone--who didn't have one of Indiana and Gonzaga making the Final Four, if not both (he asked sheepishly)? At least I misread the titles and instead of having a sure path to the Costanza I'm somewhat comfortably mid-table.

Yeah, everybody at ESPN had either Indiana or Miami winning the East, so they're all hosed. A few had G'Town or VCU winning the South, but generally, it seems like still having 3/4 of your Final Four intact at this point is pretty normal.

Viera's a 1 hour and 52 minute drive from my house.

I went to Viera to see the final two Nats spring training games in Florida. I realized after the first game that I could make the Mets game before opening pitch, so I went another hour south. Twenty seven innings of laid-back last week spring ball: Nats-Braves, Mets-Astros and Nats-Mets. Plus a side trip to the World of Beer to try Roquefort Trappistes 10 and Stone IPA.
