No love east of Krome Ave:

Florida International University has fired Isaiah Thomas as head coach after three years of lackluster basketball.

At least Isaiah is scaling back the magnitude of his misdeeds as he progresses. First he wrecked an entire league. Then he wrecked an NBA franchise. Now, he's only wrecked a small, relatively unnoticed college program.

Tim Tebow will address a crowd of 30,000 during Easter services at a church in Georgetown, Texas. "Obviously it's our Super Bowl," said pastor Joe Champion. "It's not a Tim Tebow show. It's not about a celebrity. There's really only one celebrity that we are going to honor and highlight."

Tiger gets rough with his clubs.

Though, I do think Nick Faldo was a bit over the top with this. The tantrum received plenty of attention at Augusta National, and it prompted CBS Sports analyst Nick Faldo to say that Woods had "lost his game ... and lost his mind."

Here's video of the tantrum. He's really losing it to behave so childishly on one of golf's biggest stages.

Evgeni Malkin hits 108 points and 50 goals on the season. Steven Stamkos hit the 60 goal mark today as well.

Boston College has won the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey championship for the 4th time under coach Jerry York. They finished the season with 19 wins in a row, and held the opposition to 2 goals or fewer in the last 18 in a row. I'm no lover of BC, being a Northeastern grad, but one has to give them credit for a great season and for bringing another championship to Hockey East.
