Peter Roebuck was informed that sexual assault charges were being brought against him minutes before he apparently threw himself to his death out of his hotel room window.

So do we start a new thread based on just how creepy that Sandusky interview was?

But CNN legal analyst Sunny Hostin said she thinks a crime has already been committed, based on Sandusky's own admissions.

"It's such a classic fact pattern for him to admit that he showered with these children and horsed around and confessed to touching them," she said on CNN's "AC360." "In my mind, that's already misdemeanor child sex abuse. So I disagree when the attorney says nothing criminal happened here. That, in and of itself, is criminal ... I'm flabbergasted."

The Orioles announce their new/old uniform/hats/colours.

Side note:
The Oriole on the hat is wearing a hat with a different logo.

That's the baseball equivalent of the Miami Dolphins helmet sporting a logo of a dolphin wearing a helmet with a different logo.

I'm trying to think of any other hats/helmets that feature another hat/helmet on them.

The Oakland Raiders helmet logo is a pirate wearing an old-style football helmet.
The New England Patriots helmet logo is a stylized version of a man wearing a tri-corner hat.
(and their older logo is a Patriot in a three-point stance, wearing a hat)

Any others?

Here's a hearty swashbuckler for ye.

And here's his brother, but have to look to see if this guy actually made it onto any team headgear.

Then you've got your Minn. Vikings, USC Trojans, MSU Spartans, and so on.

Also should mention the Ottawa Senators in that group.

Fraze will have a fit, but you probably have to include the Wash. Redskins feather headdress logo in there.

And then no way am I gonna neglect the Cal State Northridge Matadors!

Now I'm going to hear it from fans of San Diego State, Appalachian State, Troy State, Purdue, Robert Morris, Geo. Wash. Univ., Mahoning Valley, Murray State, and UTEP for not mentioning their teams previously.

And from fans of the Frisco Roughriders, Furman Paladins, Vanderbilt Commodores, Eastern Kentucky Colonels, Ottowa Loggers, New England Steamrollers, Portland Beavers...

And at least five teams that call themselves the Cowboys.

Gotta go fix dinner now.

In reality, I was looking for helmet/hat logos that contained helmets/hats of the same kind (baseball/football), like the Orioles, Dolphins, and Raiders.

Of the rest you listed, only the Portland Beavers have a baseball hat with a logo of an animal/person wearing a different baseball hat (meeting the same requirements of the Orioles, Dolphins, and Raiders).

Murray State, New England Steamrollers, Ottawa Senators, USC Trojans, and Michigan State Spartans are the only other ones you listed that have ANY kind of head gear on their logos on their helmets/hats (like the New England Patriots), so I don't know what you were listing in the last post.

Article is nearly 7 years old (and many links are broken), but Paul Lukas tackled this subject on his old Page 2 column.

You didn't specifically mention or clarify that in your original post. In fact, your inclusion of the Patriots throws the interpretive door wide open.

The teams I listed had a head gear inclusive logo at one point in their history, either as primary designs and/or as approved alternates.

I used a historical frame of reference since you established that precedent with your mention of the Patriots.

The logo I am not entirely certain about is the Ottawa Loggers since I can't see with 100% surety whether the figure has a hat on or if it's just a stylized rendering of his big head of hair.

But since I mistakenly interpreted this to simply be a fun exercise, I decided to take a bit of license with that inclusion.

The teams have to use a different logo on the helmet/hat of the person/mascot on the original helmet/hat...otherwise you'd have to keep going to infinity.

If the dolphin had a regular Miami helmet on, there would be a dolphin wearing a helmet with a dolphin on it, that was wearing a helmet with a dolphin on it, that was wearing a helmet with a dolphin on it.....

Okay, I joke, but putting a M on the helmet simplifies matters.

From Another Era And Another Sport, A Sex Abuse Scandal Still Inflicting Pain Today

A horrific story. I thought everything related to the Red Sox was big news, not this though.

You could claim the Cleveland Browns' helmet bears the logo of a magnified portion of their own helmet.

David Hasselhoff has no problem with that plan.
