61-year-old Vietnam vet makes the cut as a small-college kicker: What a great story.
Be nice to know his stats/skill level at that age.

That is the face of a man who has lived his life the way he goddamn well wanted to and could not possibly give less of a shit what anyone thinks of it. Makes me wish I still lived near enough to Montgomery to see him play.

Yeah, I'm sure he wanted his college education interrupted by the Vietnam War. Didn't everybody? That war was so popular, I can't understand why they had a draft.

Love this guy. He's a movie waiting to happen.

If he didn't want to fight the Vietnam War, he should've had other priorities.

Does that mean he should have applied for CO status or gone to Canada?

Apologies if my sarcasm detector is broken (I suspect it is), but wha?

I'm saying that if avoiding military service was important to him, he should have gotten five deferments and then impregnated Lynne Cheney.
