Madison Square Garden Will Have Spectator Bridges: As part of a $775 million transformation, two spectator bridges will be suspended across Madison Square Garden to give fans a bird's-eye view of New York Rangers and New York Knicks games. "They'll be like no other seat in professional sports or entertainment," said MSG President Hank Ratner.

Hopefully we're talking about totally enclosed cocoon tubes to keep the good citizens of the region from throwing items onto the playing surfaces or timing Robin Hood jumps onto the backs and shoulders of hated opponents.

The bridges will have to be fairly high to not interfere with some of the broadcast camera views.

After the transformation, MSG will be able to do for the NBA and NHL what it already does for Chinese food.

It's not just MSG; most big arenas give me hives.

If done right, this could be a really cool thing.
