Greg Oden Out for the Season: Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden will have microfracture surgery on his left knee and will not play this season, the team announced Wednesday night. The 22-year-old, the first overall pick in 2007, hasn't played since breaking his kneecap in December 2009.

If he would just learn to make full use of his middle leg and give the two outer ones a rest now and then, his knees would be fine.
