Atlanta Braves Name Gonzalez as Manager: The Atlanta Braves unveiled Fredi Gonzalez as their new manager on Wednesday to replace Bobby Cox, the skipper who won five pennants and a World Series during an illustrious 25-year tenure. Gonzalez coached the Florida Marlins for four seasons, finishing no higher than second.

If he had Hudson, Hanson, and Jurrjens, it would have helped there too. (I couldn't bring myself to include Lowe despite his fantastic final performance this season).

I thought Gonzalez handled Hanley Ramirez pretty poorly. He escalated what could have been a minor incident into a major pissing match. Hopefully, he will only have docile, happy, eager players on the Braves.
