Bet I can. Bet you can't.: This past Saturday, a friendly bar wager between me, my twin brother and my former baseball teammate came to life.
Anybody else have a Springsteen song stuck in their head now? Fun stuff.

tahoemoj, I always have a Springsteen song stuck in my head. Though usually not Glory Days, which for me is one of his weaker attempts at pop. The wordless, er, screaming at the end of Jungleland or the repetitions of Hiding in the backstreets are frequent guests.

Yes! Nice shot and cute kid. Immediately makes me want to go out and try the same.
I also love Springsteen. My head veers from Thunder Road to Atlantic City and all over the map.

The Challenge: 30 swings each to hit a home run.
The field has a very short left field power alley (270 feet) and we were allowed to swing aluminum. (When I played with the club, we were in the top division and used wood.) I haven't hit a homerun since I was 12 years old and it was an accident. Did I mention this was a bar bet?
