Haynesworth Skips Minicamp, Demands Trade: After accepting a $21 million bonus in April on the $100 million free agent deal he signed in 2009, Washington defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has been a minicamp no-show and demanded a trade. "He decided to take our check and we're very disappointed he wasn't here today," said Coach Mike Shanahan.

I hope the Redskins manage to get some of that money back. Haynesworth is extremely self-centered and it shows when his teammates publicly turn their backs on him. I certainly wouldn't want him on my team.

Wow. Another arrogant professional athlete. Not content with alienating most of his team mates with his outrageous contract, he is now alienating all of the team, the coaches, management, ownership, and all of the fans with the no show for a mandatory camp and the demand of a trade. Maybe he's afraid of getting a little roughed up in camp by some or all of those pissed off team mates.

I imagine the agent that got him the 100 million dollar deal is getting ready to put a gun to his head. A trade? Exactly which NFL team would be stupid enough to take on that much debt for a clubhouse cancer whose level of play depends on if he likes the defense or not?

To hell with the Redskins. The contract was stupid to begin with, and they should have known they were getting a fat turd who's nothing but a pain in the ass. Let Haynesworth keep his guaranteed money. He'll probably use it to eat until he blows up.

...there's always the Raiders...

The place where NFL careers are murdered. Yup, sounds like a perfect fit for this greedy bastard.

What a tool. With this attitude the Redskins are probably better off without him, although a bit poorer.
