I did what now?

posted by owlhouse at 04:04 PM on August 31, 2009

I am confused to. Maybe some moderating has occurred in the mean time.

Gary must have hammered some comments.

Who did what in the where, now?

posted by WeedyMcSmokey at 05:45 PM on August 31, 2009

It was some kinda used Toyota ad or something, no?

posted by Spitztengle at 06:17 PM on August 31, 2009

Yeah, for some corolla. I didn't have time to read the article so I just deleted that part of the comment in case it was a joke about something in the article that I didn't know about since I hadn't read the article.

Makes perfect sense in my head.

Freakin' owlhouse, what a drongo.

That'd be "Fair Dinkum, what a drongo", thank you very much.

/Still doesn't get why I'm copping the blame.

The spammer was Australian. Obviously you're related.

Gary, any reason to keep the account around when the person just posted to link to some used car site?

posted by yerfatma at 10:25 AM on September 01, 2009

Australians. Bonke knerks. No wonder they want to sell their Corollas.

Yeah, sorry. I banned him after I saw this thread.

Apparently my comprehension skills are lacking.

Who got banned, saraswat ?

So Bruce down the road is selling his Corolla now? First I've heard of it.

posted by owlhouse at 04:10 PM on September 01, 2009

Yeah, he's selling it to a kangaroo.

Obviously this is part of some sort of Australian movement to improve wildlife conditions by getting them into a more economic form of transport.

Kash for Kangaroos. Or Money for Marsupials. Or something.

Both much more successful than the Pogosticks for Platypus program.

If Bruce were selling a Holden, then I'd have said he could stay.

posted by yerfatma at 07:41 PM on September 01, 2009

But how would Holden have felt about it?

posted by JJ at 10:39 AM on September 02, 2009

With his hands, JJ, I presume.

In our case, yerfatma, it won't take a full tank of gas.

You've never seen the engines they put in Holdens.

Doesn't matter if the car's up on blocks in your side yard, dude.

A strange but little known fact: In the nation's capital (Canberra), the single biggest cause of road accidents is running into kangaroos. They're dangerous enough as pedestrians, so putting them behind a wheel...

You're most certainly welcome. I guess the aussies that I "race" with didn't teach me the phrase properly. Please feel free to share any more "taunts" that I can use against them.
