Barry Sanders Jr. trying to making a name for himself.: Sophomore running back for Heritage High School, Barry Sanders Jr. is turning some heads. No one, including his family is expecting him to pick up where his father left off, but there are people wondering how good could this kid get.

what a large shadow

Level headed young man.

But we shouldn't compare him to his dad. I watched the clip of his long TD run. He's all arms and legs right now. Looks like he's going to have a higher center of gravity than his father no matter what.

He needs to stay in the weight room and fill out the frame. Especially with the lower body development. He's a long way from being able to make quick instinctive changes of direction. The way he runs right now, he could blow out a knee without being tackled.

He also barely beat a LB into the end zone, so you have to wonder a bit about the speed and quickness.

But it's early yet. Hope he's able to just become his own person out on the field to the best of his ability. No need to try to be like anyone else.

Good thing he's in Okla. It would be better if he went to a Big 12 school, probably. If he gets good enough to be recruited by those programs.

...Barry Sanders Jr...

...he could blow out a knee without being tackled...

Is it inevitable he'll be drafted by the Lions?

Ya, a career ending knee injury is the equivelent to be drafted by the lions. Your irrelevant after either one
