My favorite sports photos are those of hockey and basketball. The fans for both sports are almost right on top of the area of play, so when something big happens you also get some really great fan reactions along with the action.
My favorite one like that is when Ron Francis scored the winning goal against New Jersey back in the 2002 playoffs. There's a guy in the front row with the hood of his hoodie up over his head, he's slumped forward a bit and he's giving Francis the bird. Great stuff.
