Should Fantasy Sports Be on the Front Page?: Considering the popularity of the leagues here, and the work being done by the users who start them, should we consider moving the Fantasy Sports category to the front page, now that such things are possible?

Normally I wouldn't post in agreement with myself (at least not so quickly), but I need to test this anyway. Hear, hear! Cadenhead makes a lot of sense.

No.

I think the people who have been playing them over the years are a pretty tight knit group and have a tremendous amount of fun together. I'd hate to see tenured users lose out to some first day noob. The current system of including in the sidebar is sufficient.

Additionally, adding it as a topic category may be inviting a discourse of "What do you think of my trade" and "who should I draft" as a direct relation to mainstream sports discussions.

I love fantasy games, but feel the "separation of church and state" is a good one to maintain here.

Yeah, let's keep the fantasy game stuff in the locker room.

No.

I agree with Yukon and NoMich. The Locker Room is a great place for Fantasy Sports.

I likes it the locker room too. Plus I think it keeps some of the riffraff outta the fantasy stuff.

I'm with the majority. Fantasy Sports should stay in the locker room.

I feel it can be used on the front page, but is probably more prone to problems than it's worth. Simply put, Yukon summed it up nicely. No.

Yeah, locker room works for me too. It does separate it nicely from the mainstream, newsy stuff.
