Consistency in FPP formating: On the front page a post does NOT have a colon. Once one clicks on "post a comment" to follow the thread the colon appears. Me no likey. You?

I don't have a problem with it.

Me no likey. You Me no likey you, either, fuckstick. Here's your colon (moons - spreads cheeks a la Mike Honcho).

I'm with terrapin. In fact, I am certain that this was discussed previously with the word from the pantheon that it would be addressed. Y'know what else would be nice? If the logo on the front page could be clicked on to reload the page. Y'know, like at *.metafilter.com. That would be nice. Then me likey.

If there were html formatting buttons (especially link) on the "compose post" page. I use a comments box like this one then cut-and-paste. Not a biggie, but odd.

I can't recall whether members prefer a colon or no colon. Talk amongst yourselves and we'll go with the consensus.

No colon for me, thanks, I've got plenty already. As a punctuation geek, I feel it hinders my ability to completely express my feelings in a punctuationy sort of way.

I don't have anything to add to this discussion. I just wanted to mention that I got my wireless router set up and I'm posting this from my Wii.

How long did it take to type?

posted by Ying Yang Mafia at 02:46 PM on November 25, 2007

I think that's like five swings left, two quick swipes right, and 25 up and down.

Plus you have to hit a grand slam to get the "Wii" typed out. It took forever to load up the bases.

I agree with TBH. Crush the colon!
