World Series confidence pool final standings: The Red Sox put trox and tron7 over the top, ending my supremacy to my great dismay. apoch did a fine job securing the Costanza. Congratulations to everyone involved!

I note, without irony, that my smacktalk reads, "I'm stinking at Pick 'Em, maybe confidence will work better." Apparently not.

Mine is I'm rooting for anyone but the Cubs. So at least I managed to get something out of the playoffs.

I thought I was being contrarian with my NL pick, but I'll take the honors.

On an unrelated note, are these extremely long edit features a beneficial bug or a new bonus?

I'm surprised I finished as high as I did, since I had the Yankees winning the whole thing. The five series that ended in sweeps definitely took most of the fun out of the confidence pool. Delineating between 6th, 7th, and 8th made no difference whatsoever, and the fact that every NL team either swept or was swept in each series didn't help either.

I was the lowest scoring dude who tipped the Red Sox. I guess also picking the Rockies for 1 point a win will do that to you.

1 point, damn.

Mine was.....I was rooting for anyone but the Tigers........ oh that was last year.

Yeah last year. When the Tigers made the World Series. Last time the Cubs managed that was way back in 1945 when they lost to, ironically, the Detroit Tigers.
