Final '07 Fantasy Baseball Standings: Jerseygirl wins it wire to wire (by my account) and takes home her 4th championship in 5 years. Amazing!

A few things I learned from this season: 1) Bill Hall is not as good as I thought 2) the autodraft doesn't know that Mark Pryor is washed up 3) its a lot easier to go from 3rd to 13th between seasons, than to go from 3rd to 1st 4) Damn, I got taken out behind the woodshed in this league!

Then I got taken apart on the last day there too. (which I kind of should have seen coming because of my "throwing-everything-out-there-on-the-mound-that-could-throw-a-baseball" strategy) At least I made it interesting up to the end.

congrats jg. another second place for me so i can't complain too much. except i wish that bs you pullled in 03 had not happened or else i'd have 2 of those championships. i wish we could finally draft a keeper league. your drafting skills & my awesomeness at waiver wire pick ups leave no chance for anyone else.

That you did. I realized on sunday that my best shot was to try and take ERA and WHIP. It worked out. I'll consider it a small revenge for your victory last year in the H2H hockey league.

Can I claim the Costanza or what? Nuh uh! I won it fair and square! (my secret: autodraft!!!) The Costanza is for the worst team that actually tried. The last league activity for the Steeplebats was June 15th; I was active as late as August 22nd. Moving up one more slot, KendallzSluggerz played until Sept 19th. Minny Trax is the lowest ranked team that actually made moves up to the last day of the season. We need a ruling over here!

Hey now just because I didn't make any last minute changes to my team doesn't mean I wasn't active. Look at the difference - minny trax made like 70 moves and I only made about 18. Just a different style of play not necessarily not playing. This is all mute anyway because in no way was it stated that you had to complete the season with complete moves on the last day to win the costanza so in my mind LBB is the true costanza winner. Jersey Girl made about the same amount of moves I did and you still say she won.

I certainly wasn't saying that I wanted it. I was only confirming that I was futily trying to bail out the water until the last day of the season and that mathematical elimination can go fuck itself.

I think SpoFi precedent dictates that the Costanza goes to the worst team that tried. We can have a vote-off. Worst team / last league activity 18. Steeplebats / Jun 15 17. Deadballers IV / Aug 22 16. KendallzSluggerz / Sep 19
