One more attempt at a New York SpoFi meetup.: In true Spofi fashion, I waited until the last minute. I will be flying out of the boonies into New Jersey to catch Thursday's New Jersey Devils vs Philadelphia Flyers game, a game with possible playoff implications that should have a playoff atmosphere. Are there any other spofites going? Or does anyone want to meet up at some point on Friday or Saturday?

Ha! Bring it on Hater. I still owe you one for taking a run at my goaltender. I did just do a search, and there are still good seats available through legal means.

There will be a very jealous hockey fan standing at whatever terminal your coming through slowly tapping a hockey stick in his gloved hands. I first read that as slowly taping the stick, and thought "Awesome!" Then I re-read it and thought "Oh, okay, just as good." Then I couldn't decide which one made a better mental picture. Then I figured it would be dumb to tape up a stick with gloves on. Then I went to bed.

I'd love to meet up and check out the hockey match but the HATER recently took a big step in the game of life and moved in with his special lady friend and money has been a little tight with the rent payments and her uncanny ability to spend it faster than I can make it. If you feel like wandering into the NYC metro area or even long island for fermented beverages throw me an e-mail.

At first I was very disappointed with you guys. But then I got to spend a couple days with just a certain lady spofite which shall remain nameless. So then I thought it's your guys loss. But then I forgot the money to reimburse her for the hockey tickets and it got ugly, very ugly. At least the Devils won.
