Yeah, don't check my math on these. This week, the rich get richer. I propose some sort of RBI and R sharing plan to help the smaller market teams compete. Rocky Rassy is threatening the big 3, he's looking up Jersey's skirt right now.

Oh, and poor rev falls below the Thugs, who haven't had any league activitiy since March!

Number 3 again. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.

I'd like to point out that despite corpse's assertion, I'm averting my eyes, jgirl. Much love to corpse also for incorporating points gained/lost from week to week.

Sorry about kazu, JG. (I still have him in my other league, where I'm in dead dead last place)

I think me, rev, spaceman, and hecklerz should be contracted, we've all fallen below the thugs, who still haven't had any activity since March. PATHETIC.

Hey jerseygirl i had no idea about Chacon going on DL. I'd still like Ichiro, so who do you want?

That was quick. What's up with the return of the insta-trade. Last week i waited 4 days & missed a start by hudson. Yesterday my trade was approved in 4 hours & i'll miss a start by rogers v indians. Yep i'm crying because i'm starting to fade a little but c'mon commish just be consistent w/ trades.

I was wondering about that also, cat. I thought you pulled the trade on me until I realized I had a hole in my outfield for today. OK, anyone interested in EYoung, RSanders or SSosa? Looking for a package deal from both sides to land a shortstop or catcher. Willing to deal a pitcher also.

the trade between me and the commish went through immediately... which isnt right or fair to everyone else.

With all due respect, I think the commissioning has been terrible since the beginning. I had to fight my way through every trade I made. One was vetoed; I remember another that was just vetoed because the commish didn't like it. I thought we had dealt with this issue already too. Not on SpoFi, but in the comments on the fantasy baseball site. Of course, jbou's been playing by his own rules from day 1. And just so you know, I don't blame my poor performance on any of this...I just suck, that's all.

The weekly updates have been off the heezy. jerseygirl, do you truly dislike me? That makes me sad.

To his credit, jbou volunteered, so I am grateful for that. Now, on to the bitching. First trades were getting rejected without reason. I had a few vetoed trades. One was ruled unfair by the commish. No one voted on it, and I am not sure anyone actually had a problem with it because it was so early in the season and it appeared to fill in gaps for both teams at the time. Then trades were going through at odd paces. Some would sit for days, some would pass through almost immediately. I had thought that settled down when everyone basically agreed to let the default Yahoo time pass and have the trade processed that way -- it was fair that way, plus it took the pressure off jbou to have to worry about processing them. There was that trade where it was proposed and accepted one day and that night, Piazza went on the DL and the commish intervened. There's been a lot of unneeded babysitting, and I had thought it all settled down until the latest instatrades went through, especially the one between me and theshow. granted, it ended up being beneficial to my team because Williams sucked that night, but it still isnt fair to everyone else who has been waiting the standard time for processing. the fact that it involved the commish made it 100x more wrong. But, uh, next year, maybe we'll have a vote. Hey! I've got an idea! Perhaps a whomever wins this year gets homefield adv--, uh, gets to be the commish next season.

corpse: weekly updates have been great. thanks again for those. i hope that my team being in third every damn friday has somehow made your tables easier to construct. speaking of tables, your mastery with columns and rows is enviable. dj: No, I don't really hate you. You were, however, pissing me off at the time. [emoticon]

I'm taking this week off for updates, because all my files are on my computer at work. Stupid holiday.

Looking forward to reading "This week's leader (again) is catfish! "next week. Great job corpse. Let's subtract a save from AI though. Mets up 7-2 v reds today. bases loaded & griffey just looks at 5 pitches. game over. i thought that the tying run had to be at the plate for a save. well it should be. good luck to all in the second half.
