Sportsfilter birthday: So what is the official date? Is it yesterday? Or is it Feb. 1st as it was when a bunch of us flooded this place? Either way, happy fourth!

Sportsfilter meet : Sportsfilter. Part of MSN's new weblog network, MSN Filter. Pales in comparison, but it's annoying taking the sportsfilter name in vain.

One NHL series left: Tampa Bay vs Calgary. Winner takes all. Make your picks.
For the last round, it paid to be a bitter Leafs fan.
And qbert72 went 100%... again.

Sportsfilter Fantasy Hockey: Week 16. Arrogant Champs regain the number one spot, knocking the long time leader, Crap City Crapadiens, into second place. Considering that we're more than half way into the year, it's pretty impressive to see three teams tie for Goal Scoring (with a fourth team a mere one goal behind). Things are competitive, and a hot or cold streak can still send someone up or down in the rankings. I'm hoping for the former.

Spo-Fye Fantasy Hockey: Week 14 sees very little movement on the chart, and the top 3 is identical to last week: Crapadients, Champs, Colecos.

Sportsfilter Fantasy Hockey Lucky Week 13. The week of Brian Boucher. Riding on Boucher's play, les colecos make the biggest jump: from sixth to third. But it was not enough to knock out the defending champion Crap City Crapadiens, who hold onto first for the fifth straight week! More inside...

Sportsfilter Fantasy Hockey Week... Twelve! After a holiday break, the new year begins with not much change. A few minor movements here and there, but the overall picture is mostly the same: Crap City Crapadiens, Sammy's Ice Holes, and the Arrogant Champs continue to hold the top three spots.

Sportsfilter Fantasy Hockey, Week 10! The Usual Suspects: Crap City continues to hold number one, and the Arrogant Champs continue to stay close behind. Sammy's Ice Holes, benefitting from 3 Belfour shutouts in 6 games and a somewhat revived Raycroft (except for today, ouch!), jump one spot to third. That league leading 2.01 GAA is mighty good.

SpoFi Fantasy Hockey: Week Nine. Crap City holds the number one spot and becomes the first team other than the second place Arrogant Champs to stay on top for more than one week. Past number one concussion central has been demoted to Grand Rapids and currently sits in third place.

SpoFi Fantasy Hockey: Week Seven. "The week of woo", as the Crap City Crapadiens are everything but crappy. The vagabonds jump up to take second, and the Arrogant Champs stick around in third -- ready to strike back. Standings and taunting (of Samsonov's Booins, heh) inside...

SpoFi Fantasy Hockey. Week Seven marks the rise of a new champion: concussion central. The Arrogant Champs drop into second, and last week's major contender, Crap City, fails to gain new ground, falling to third. As most teams have played 20 games or more, this update also marks the quarter-point of the season.

I've jumped back onto the RSS bandwagon and I've been resubscribing to many, many feeds. One was to be the Sportsfilter feed, but there's some issues I'd like to see addressed. More inside...

Spofi Fantasy Hockey, Week 6. Blah blah Arrogant Champs blah blah grum sucks! Out of nowhere, the Crap City Crapadiens (or the Craps for short) have jumped into second, knocking off the perennial runner-ups, les colecos and Sammy's Ice Holes. Can the Craps maintain this torrent to claim the number one spot? Find out next week!

SpoFi Fantasy Hockey, Week 5. Back to the norm: Arrogant Champs number one. Not too much movement on the board, but overall: a good week for concussion central (3 Canucks with a combined +33!) and a bad week for the Ice-O-Topes (Marc-Andre Fleury. Though all the saves he makes count for something). Leaderboard inside...

Fantasy Hockey Week 4. After three weeks occupying numero uno, the Arrogant Champs are finally dethroned by the Ice-O-Topes. Les colecos and Sammy's Ice Holes (as per usual) round out the top four, and are followed by a log-jam: a mere two points separates fifth from eighth. Gloating inside...

Looking at the Olympic category I see both of the Russians leaving links, even though on the front page only the first one is shown (I assume the other one was removed for being a double.) I'm not sure if it's a bug or feature though.
