Dwane Jarrett arrested for DWI....again. : Carolina Panthers cut Ex USC star, Dwane Jarrett after his second DWI in less than three years. Jarrett has only 2 catches for 40 yards for the Panthers in 2010.

Patrick Crayton finally gets his wish to be traded.: Dallas received only future considerations, likely a late-round draft pick. The club figured it was better than cutting him and getting nothing, plus it puts him in the other conference.

Longhorn coach Mack Brown believes Vince Young deserves 2005 Heisman. : "I think you have to go back and really give that choice to the Heisman Trust. Couture makes short work of boxer Toney: As almost everyone expected, mixed martial arts legend Randy Couture dominated and then defeated boxer James Toney at UFC 118, causing the heavyweight boxing champion to tap out with an arm triangle that choked Toney in 3:19 of the first round.

MMA the new boxing?: As UFC 100 approaches, the audience for MMA is as large and diverse as it has ever been. Is this something boxing won't be able to overcome? The superstars in UFC are bigger than ever (No pun intented, Lesnar) and coming from all parts of the world. Boxing will never be dead, but do they need to do something to get back into the main stream audience?

Madden Jinx?: Shaun Alexander rushed for 187 yards through three games, which is less than a thousand projected yards throughout the entire season (997 to be exact). Not to mention he was on pace for only eleven rushing touchdowns. Terrible numbers for a guy who rushed for 1880 last year and had 27 rushing tds.
