Tom Brady Wearing Walking Cast

This stinks of conspiracy; Matt Cassel clearly hired Tanya Harding and Jeff Hostetler.

Rock Chalk Jayhawk...football?

My username is the address of Allen Field House Lawrence, KS. Great game last night for both teams: Either side could have walked away victorious after special teams, trickery and solid offense and defensive bursts. Dang Russ Grimm's kid hits hard! See you at the Orange Bowl in another 40 years.

In a battle of image, Duke takes black eye

I watched this game and saw the incident occur live as it happend on TV. I saw many replays. The foul was not excessive. For once, I agreed with Billy Packer (alright that's enough of that). Hansbrough was twisiting all over the place trying for a good angle to get a putback as any instructed player should. Henderson may not have had the greatest of reflexes but that ball came loose and Gerald Henderson was in flight. He went for a last second misdirected, flubbed ball. With 16 or so seconds to go and the game's outcome certainly decided, why were both Chevrolet Players of the Game still playing? Roy should have pulled Tyler. Gerald being a Frosh maybe but still. I feel bad for Hansbrough, he got the short end of the stick now has to learn to play with a mask. This coming from a Kansas fan who is less than loving of both teams.

Crying Foul

Crumbs sending Elton Brand to the LA Clippers in exchange for Tyson Chandler in Chicago was a draft day disaster. Cheer up, Shane Battier was good at Duke.

Jean Strahan hints that Michael is gay.

She's reckelssly screaming and crying her way towards what she hopes will be a bigger settle out of court offer from M. Strahan's attorney. Although I am left scratching my head a little when they said one bedroom. OK, he's married and his one bedroom is prolly a 2nd place to crash with the main house in the burbs. Still, if Ian makes that much bank (Rainbow Room wedding?) then you'd think the dude would spring for a 2 bedroom apt in the city.

Chris Berman is annoying

Berman had his day and yeah, he's past his prime but Espin can't just fire the guy. He's been there 25+ years. He helped start the network and logged a lot of road dog miles in the process. As corporate as the network has become, at least they have some loyalty. He's been given the reigns on NFL GameDay and Primetime and I think he does a pretty bang up job with Tom Jackson and the morning crew. The rest of the time they send him to do crappy MLB games that nobody's listening to anyways- they're on mute at the bar.

Bill Walton flies coach

I wonder how many times he has walked off a plane and muttered "Horrendous flight. American Airlines must get back to the basics!"?

Homer, Homer, Homer, Homer, Homer, Homer

"Knuckleheads are a strange lot, but the ones who are good enough to master the pitch over time can do a lot more than eat innings." Well, therein lies the difference between good and (in my best Mike Myers Scottish accent) CRAP!

It's like Brad and Jen all over again...

A skank that can't seem to ever find a shred of dignity. Good God woman, the good ole Us of Ayy afforded you to pick yourself up from your poor whi-trash life you grew up from and live a lavish lifestyle. I'll buy the porn if you "do" the whole team on tape though. Should we trump up some BS about Kris cheatin' on ya or are you two steps ahead? Call me.

A sports legend passes

Sorry to hear about Smoky the 8th. I have a dog and know what it means for anyone to lose one. But I have to raise a question here and I raise this in no offense intended. I ask this in true sincerity. Why does the University of Tennessee have a dog mascot? They are the Volunteers/ the Vols/ the Lady Vols et al. I know that Georgia has a live bulldog roaming the sidelines but that's probably because they are known officially as the Bulldogs in NCAA sports, Texas has the Bevo the Bull, Colorado has some buffalo but nary a wolverine has ever been present on the Michigan 50 yard line. Is this a cultural thing popular in the SEC, the South, Texas? I am not stereotyping as I recognize FSU has the native american and Miami has some sort of toucan Sam "hurricane" pelican bird gawking away. Please advise. And while were at it: what is the Philly Phanatic? Thanks in advance.

George Mason Stuns Tarheels

George Mason Stuns Tarheels

It's almost commonplace these days to have a Cinderella or 2 or 3 in the Sweet 16. Then Billy Packer noted last night that "all 4 number 1 seed's are still alive." He said it almost as if that fact was a relief. It's so easy to fling poo in this guy's face when he incessantly roots for the favored team to win.

Take Me Out of This Broadcast Booth

"Hey everybody. Harry Carey out here in the bleachers at beautiful Wrigley Field. Hey, look at that couple over there. He kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls." Who cares if Harry was a conniving jackass off the field. He was a great voice for baseball.
