The mighty hath fallen:

I agree that that Tsonga is like Agassi is he playing tennis of historical proportions, Djokovic himself is of the next genration of legends (like Federer and Nadal, so who succeeded Agassi and his group), you are that Tsonga will win? Or that he will not, but he certainly deserves to win. Melbourne has given tennis its best. It gave us the 2006, 2007, and 2008 epics involving Baghdatis, incuding his 06 run to the final. It also gave us the best match ever: El Aynaoui vs Roddick. Could Djokovic vs Tsonga be the best ever?

Patriots advance to their 4th Superbowl in 7 years.

bravo, they played well, but they have a lot of questions to answer and lot of knots to untie if they want to win it all

Giants down Cowboys 21-17:

I think people should lay off Jessica. They lost the game. If the weather is good, they can beat GB, although I honestly believe GB will win and advance. I think SD vs. GB for the SB is good, but it wuld be a home game for the Chargers. However, that town deserves Lombardi's trophy, even though Spanos will then not be able to move from SD, which he highly desires.

Rolen for Glaus?

You see Rolen has lot of prid and I doubt it would allow himt o go to Toronto, which peopl look down at. However, Rolen is a great player. Glaus got a ring with the Angels, but he really was not a part of the ing. He got that ring for playing for a losing franchise throughout the late 90's and early 00's, the prime of his career, when people thought he was the next Hank Aaron. He then went to Phoenix, he did not make them a winner, went to Toronto, same result. This is good for the Jays, but the Cardinals will be sorry.

This is the public disgrace of Roger Clemens we see. He is heading to where we see Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Giants top Buccaneers,

I can not believe it took 14 years and a flood, and it was a real show by Mother Nature in SD and Southern California here today, for the Chargers to win a game. I guess they will always need a flood to win a playoff game. This is hard. They should move to Portland.

ARod returning to the Yankees.

So much for Olney. This leaves us wondering in LA, we must get Cabrera. The Santana deal seems to be doingwell as same with Torii.

Barry Bonds indicted on perjury, obstruction charges

This is terrible. This is a person going to jail. This is gravedancing. I think the worst thing is he is being deprived from playing for the Angels or Yanks, and depriving him of a well deserved ring (though not with NYY, they stink).

Report: Dodgers hire Torre as manager; Little fired

The worst part for Grady is he will likely be unemployed next season. As for A Rod, I read somewhere that both he and Mo Rivera will likely consder Torre's new digs at Chavez Ravine in their decision.

George Gipp Exhumed from Michigan Cemetery

Go back in time and realize that when girls got knocked up they didn't go around telling everybody. George Gipp's body is exhumed, and Ronald Regan stirs in his own grave. What -- he's thinking, "Damn...I'm next!"? The first quote seems crue, but it is brutal honsty. Second, if Strom slept with a black wman he wanted to ensave, who says Th Great Leader should not have an extra child. His politics does not include his crotch.

Bombed: New York Yankees Make Another Early Exit from Playoffs

La Russa is all but in. Rivera and Posada are gone in that case, Pettitte and Clemens are gone even if Torre had survived. A-Rod seems to be gone I think that if La Russa is hired, chances are higher than Giambi will be gone because he seems less tolerant of an ex-cheater as opposed to Mattingly, Showalter, Valentine, Showalter. I think Girardi also would want Giambi out. I cannot believe that when everyone wants Mattingly in New York, the Boss is choosing La Russa, but he is the Boss.

Bombed: New York Yankees Make Another Early Exit from Playoffs

I doubt the Yanks will rise from this. Remember hw many people believed the Marlins would be a dynasty four long years ago? Th Tiges a year ago, and they never won it all! Nobody knows who the next dynasty will be. Of the teams going now, if an AL team wins it all, there will be dynasty talk. As for the present, the sports radios here in the Bay say that A Rod will opt out, and that La Russa will be Ynakees manager next year, 99% they seem to be sure. I had my money on Mattingly, and my neighbor on Showalter.

Kevin Garnett Traded to Celtics

Well Danny rose up to the occasion. Faced with another dynasty or becoming the Devil Rays of basketball, Ainge stepped up and hit the homer. Ratliff (now) and Tefair are not the big names, it is Green and Jefferson that the T'wolves have in the cards now. Miami, Detroit, and Cleveland are all one pice short of a Finals run. But will Boston beat Phoenix in 2008? Will anybody beat Phoenix in 2008? As for the present, will this lock Kobe in LA, or #23's court. Yi is not staying in MIL, and CHI would give Noah at any moment to get Yi, and pul the trigger on that trade. Does Garnett moving East make this other blockbuster trade inevitable. That would be lopsided though. Although this is the msot lopsided NBA trade after Shaq to MIA, and that trade is only more lopsided in sports after Babe Ruth (ya the Bambino) gettin sold to the Evil Empire.

Bettman Buggers Up Balsillie's Bid

Down with Bettman. He does not mind a team in Canada, as long as it's in Winnipeg, or in worst case, Quebec. He must go. The NHL needs serious contraction, and Bettman has no guts.

Kobe Bryant Demands Trade

I say WASH, NY, or maybe CHI. However, I think NJ (Brooklyn) will get him. He is out. I live in L.A. Phil might stay, but odds are he's out. Seattle is a small pond, but he is going to KC actually, which is a little bigger. NJ is tied to a very large area and Brooklyn is as well.
