The Washington Post is a reporting that Sean Taylor's murder was simply a case of a robbery gone wrong. The suspects thought he was out of town and didn't expect anyone to be home.

Dr. Jonathan Niednagel says that he can predict athletic success based on which 1 of 16 brain types an athlete has. According to Niednagel, Lebon is an ESFP (Jul 28), the same type as Magic Johnson. So get ready for Magic's penchant for flashy passes and ability to involve teamates but don't expect Michael's thinking assasin persona. Lamar Odom says that the Heat will help him realize his potential. Can any coach provide the heart that a player lacks? Can Riley help Odom realize his potential? Does anyone else remember the game winners that Odom hit at URI, that Odom was the early leader for ROY over Brand and Francis back in 99', the way that Odom took over the Rookie/Soph game in 99' scoring every big bucket? Odom was one of a handful of guys who could take care of bizzness at crunch time; T-Mac's equal back in High School. What happened? How good can he be in Miami? How good (or bad) will he be in Miami?

I've watched Glen Robinson for nine years now and I like the way he plays. He's got a lethal mid range game, the kind of game announcers are always lamenting has dissappeared from the NBA. He shoots free throws well, he gets a couple of boards, and he's good for a block every once in a while. But why doesn't he seem to help his teams? This is a guy who was drafted before J. Kidd and G. Hill. Has he turned out to be a better pick than Grant Hill?
