I thought she'd have a few more years left at the top. Other priorities, I guess. What a terrific career, though.
Yeah, it is odd in that of all sports, golf is the one that has the greatest longevity of its players. However, I guess she could pull a Michael Jordan, and after a few years of relaxation feel that itch in her bones and start playing again; more so than in other sports, where being 40+ won't be a detriment.
