Amazing goal by Rick Nash: Even if you're not a Columbus Blue Jackets fan, you have to be impressed by this goal from Rick Nash. Click on the video highlights link and skip forward to about 2:25 into the clip. The slow motion, reverse angle replay they show offers the best look at what is sure to be in the running for the best goal this season. I'm glad the Jackets have locked this kid up in a multi-year contract!

To be honest, I don't think it was the best goal this month. Johnathan Toews dismantles the Colorado defense.

Nash's goal: pretty nifty move. Highlight reel goal to be sure. Toews' goal: oh my freaking god that was sweet. 8 points (4g, 4a) in 8 games? A +1 on a Blackhawks team? Only 19 years old? You 'Hawks fans gotta be excited about this kid.

Get with it Grum.....the Jackets are the up and coming in the NHL. A force to be taken seriously. Wait till we dismantle the Avalanche!

So wait, grum is wrong about Toews' goal being better than Nash's because the Jackets are up and coming? That, sir, is a non sequitor.

Didn't I tell you? Also, how did a kid basically born after NHL 94 learn The Move?

Hey Grum...Toews' goal is incredible for what it is...a great display of stick handling and maneuvering a defense. Nash's goal is amazing for what it is...a great display of quick hands and immediate reaction to the situation. Both are up there as top goals, for sure. Thanks for sharing!

Remember this beauty? It happened in Caps/Rangers game that was the longest shootout.

The greatest part about that goal is that Malik is a defensemen who is not known for scoring many goals at all. He hadn't scored once before that goal.
