You know, it looks like he took that fall just about as perfectly as anyone could. Not that this is something that you'd want to get really good at...but if you have to fall off a bike, that's the way to do it.
That was one nasty fall. As the rabi said, he did take it pretty well: nice rolling landing, and plenty of room to slide and decelerate. The jump the bike took after hitting the rail is impressive. And I watched the longer clip, and he was definitely walking on his own. He's obviously shaken, but nothing's broken here, so let's hop back on, dammit! (These guys are crazy.) Thanks for posting some MotoGP links once in a while. I don't follow it closely, so your posts are appreciated.
That was awesome!! Thank God he wasn't seriously injured but as rabi put it so, "he took that fall just about as perfectly as anyone could" becuase if you notice when he flipped over the bike, he was able to tuck his head in to not sustain any damage to his head. Good stuff.
MotoGP links! Yay! Yea, Marco is only fast in the race if you beat him up beforehand. It will be very interesting to see him on the Ducati next season. The Honda is getting better, but it was such a pig early on that all the Honda riders were out of the hunt from the start. It's not all bike, though. I honestly think Casey Stoner has discovered another level, and no amount of whining about the engine and tires can explain his dominance. The other Ducatis are way off the pace using the same equipment.
The team that is really coming out of left field is Rizla Suzuki. Suzuki? Taking podium spots? Wow. Good on them. Of course, now that I say this, Chris and John will finish dead last for the rest of the season.
