Buy your way into the New York City (or any other) Marathon.: "The notion of paying hundreds of dollars for the opportunity to run 26.2 miles may not appeal to most people, but some runners are doing just that because demand for marathons has outstripped the number of spots available in the fields."

I have ran this marathon in the past on 3 occasions. I once saw marathon officials remove someone from the course at the 20 mile mark for not having a proper bib. I loved how they did it. Wait until 20 miles when the guy is dying, run two guys out beside him and gently nudge his weary legs towards the sidewalk until he is completely off the road, too tired to fight about it. We'll let you run the first 20, but you're not going to finish.

That's awesome, Bill. Ha. There's nobody who can do the old F-U like New York. And thanks for the save, Ufez.
