Nice to see Frank playing well, and, after missing out on the White Sox' world championship season last year, maybe he and the A's can manufacture one of their own. Any ideas on how to explain Oakland's second half dominance?
The A's fly under the radar ,way out west, with a bit less media scrutiny than some other, pressure-packed teams. August comes around, and if your team is either tired or banged-up, they simply take advantage of you and out-play you. Having some outstanding pitching doesn't hurt either.
Nice to see the Big Hurt playing, and not actually Hurt. Hopefully this season further adds to his HOF credentials.
If they could bottle that stuff (playing well after the break), I would think the Texas Rangers would be first in line to buy it.
