Can't wait until football season and MLB playoffs so we will have something to discuss and argue.

i think that this is so sad and that he shouldn't have been killed. Of course it was an accident but maybe the object in this case the goal post probably should have been moved somewhere other than the electricity occupacy. If there was no other room to put said goal post maybe they shouldn't have even tried to move it maybe just to make an obstacle around it. Now my question is why was the goal post moved anyways?? If they didn't move it or if they didn't even touch it none of this would've happened.

Nothing good can come from moving a goal post.

Due to conditions of fields, etc., some sports teams have to have moveable posts to be able to have games in a place they can play. It reminds me of a incident that happened when I was in college. Some rugby players were moving posts to a makeshift field for a scheduled match and the post got caught in some power lines. The charge sent two guys flying backwards, one of them a good friend of mine. The other guy died a few moments later, and my friend survived. Doctors couldn't really explain why my friend didn't die, because he had bad burns, especially internal. They said the only explanation they could come up with was that at the exact moment the charge entered my friend's body, his heart was probably on an off-beat, and that the rubber -spiked shoes he was wearing at the time allowed some of the current to travel through him directly into the ground. It's was a horrible situation, though, and my friend never returned to the school.

There isn't enough here to merit a front-page link.
