Yea- when I played college ball, we got to pick our lockers, but we never had any big screen TVs, or vibrating chairs, or whatever. It was nice, but these clubhouses are nicer than most houses. They're pretty sweet.

Hmmm.... I might just have to take a gander down the right field line next time I'm in Milwaukee :-)

Cool stuff, grum. I love hearing about this sort of behind-the-curtain stuff.

What a great article. Bonds has a whole freakin' row? Wow, that's kind of over the top a bit but oh well, I'm not gonna pile it on with him, he gets enough grief for everything else. For anyone who's ever been in a major league clubhouse (which I have), you realize quickly who are the players at the top of the pecking order. It's like a society unto itself, just condensed into a smaller space. Very intriguing stuff. Thanks for the link grum@work, it was a fun read.

Thanks for the post, grum. At first I didn't pay any attention to the source of the article and went back to the top to check. I thought it was from Onion. Very funny (but true) stuff.
