I did some cleanup to salvage this post, since the King's first playoff game seems notable enough to merit a link.

LeBron is a complete player. I'd take him over the scoring leader any day.

/shrugs and shakes his head James is an amazing player and I'm sure everyone will give him that but I can't see him leading the Cavs past the second round. Sports is about team play (I'm looking at you Kobe) and success is measured on how good the team as a whole is. The Cavs just don't have the team to go the distance. If they can get the right pieces to be alongside James though, they will be a title contender.

i think the cavs have a good team beside lebron james, they have Zydrunas Ilgauskas is a pretty good center,Larry Hughes is just warming. Remember Larry Hughes and Gilbert Arenas combination, its going 2 be like that with Lebron and Larry. Plus Damon Jones is threat 2 other teams b/c he helped the heat last season with his three pters. i dont think they are championship material but who knows anything could happen. They just need to work on their defense.

dont forget marshall and gooden, together they make a real good power forward with 12 fouls to give.

Kobe says the right things in his blurbs to the reporters, but if you watch his play, he keeps hoisting up shots whether he is hitting or not. The Lakers had a chance to win yesterday when Kobe was passing to the open man, but his 30% FG didn't help much.

I watched that game too, whitedog (or is it White Dawg?) and found it very interesting that Kobe could not seem to find his open and hot teammates. Odom played well, but I have to accuse Mambe of giving that one away.
