Nique, Joe D, and Auriemma to be elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame: Worthy recipients all, I say...although I think Barkley and Dantley deserve to go in ahead of Joe D...

Joe D. does have a couple of rings and an NBA Finals MVP award compared to zero for Barkley, but of course "the round mound of rebound" does seem like a shoe in. Joe D. was also a defensive specialist as well as a scoring guard, the complete package, also very deserving. And Wilkins will go in without any rings, but "the human highlight film" has reel after reel of highlights showcasing his exceptional ability.

Um, Barkley is being inducted in to the HOF with the current class.

Joey D. is long overdue even though this is only his 2nd year eligible. Still wonder when (if) Adrian Dantley is ever going in? Yes I know he has no rings and was a pain to play with some times, but he was still one of the hottest sure shots in the game for 10 years.

Lets not forget that Joe Dumars has also assembled a team that has won the championship & lost in the finals + has a great chance again this year. That’s 3 rings & counting! NBA Executive of the year as well. Very deserving and he is a complete class guy!
