WTF GO my seachickens finally have done it. Steelers don't have a chance in two weeks sorry big ben you and the bus will be grounded. Everyone have a goodnight because I am going to have a great one......

As I said to my dad during the game, "The score right now is 34-7, Seahawks, but the Panthers are playing even worse than the score indicates."

This is what the playoffs are all about, every so called expert was talking about the Seahawks playing in a soft division and that they couldn't beat the Panthers but after today they proved that they deserve to be in the Superbowl as does the Pittsburgh.

Congratulations to the Seahawks for punching their Super Bowl tickets to Detroit, hopefully in two weeks they will bring the Lombardi Trophy to the Emerald City and their fans. GO HAWKS!

Call me... Fanboy, I have been preaching Seahawks all year, I cant believe that it has finally happened... go Hawks!

I hope the Seahawks do a successful trick FG play in the Super Bowl in memory of us fans who suffered (but laughed) through the Jim Zorn, Efren Herrera days. I guess I will finally publicly recognize that Holmgren is a better coach than Jack Patera.

My take on the game: First thing they gotta do: fire Mike Holmgren. heh- okay, okay, I know, they do this commercial every year, but every year it's still funny. :)

uglatto: As I said to my dad during the game, "The score right now is 34-7, Seahawks, but the Panthers are playing even worse than the score indicates.
Yeah, the Hawks pretty stopped playing by the start of the fourth quarter... at one point Delhomme had a 1.6 QB rating, I think near the end of the third quarter. He ended up only about 30 yards or so behind Hasselbeck for total yardage, but that's not reflective of how overwhelmingly in control Seattle was for the entire game. A stat like that simply blew my mind, but it couldn't last; the Hawks had it in the bag, so they let Carolina run around and pass for a bit, even score another easy TD too... no point in pushing yourselves when you've got the Superbowl to start thinking about.

No way i would have thought Seahawks were that good. Were they, wow nice game to the hawks, i take my hat off to them. Yes, i was a doubter, i truly thought Panthers had the better team, I was wrong, Nice game Sea Hawks. I still hate my x-wife calling here bragging about the team she has loved for Years, damm it, i hate when theat happens. Well enjoy Seahawks and Fans, you deserve that one.

I thought Hudson was a corporal?!? Well, the Big Black Cats disappointed me...again. Good luck, maritime birdies. You'll need it, methinks.

Fantastic game. Congrats Seahawks and fans. Now pack your and get your collective ass to Detroit. If you truly are the best 12th Man in the NFL (and you've been fantastic so far), you will find a way to out-number the Steeler fans at Ford Field. It's a tall task, but I'm calling you out!

Good match up for the Super Bowl. Steelers will be favored by about 3 to 4 points. The Panthers were way overrated because they beat the most overrated team in football this year. The Bears. Seattle actually has a much better defense than the Bears did. Of course now they will have to face the Steelers who have a better defense than Seattle does. It should be a good game. The level of competition the Steelers beat to get there was much higher than what Seattle faced. Also the Steelers did it on the road against better teams. It will a much harder task to beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl than is was to beat Washington and Carolina in Seattle. I think there is going to be some hard hitting and the overall toughness of the Steelers will be too much for Seattle. Good Luck

Seattle will play in a dome and they have Alexander. Take the Seahawks in an overtime win on a field goal by Brown. QB - push RB - Seahawks Rec - very slight edge Steelers Kicker - push Def - push Coaching - push

Carolina was not overrated. If carolina could stay healthy seattle would have lost that game. Carolina couldnt run, they were forced to pass, and that's not their game plan. The bears were also not overrated. Not their defense anyway. If the bears would have double teamed Smith they would have had a better chance to beat the panthers. And everyone is right. It sure was Smithless in Seattle. But if they could have ran the ball they could have got it to Smith or another receiver. Therefore scoring more often and they wouldnt have gave Seattle such great field position. Wait untill the Super Bowl. You'll see how overrated the Seahawks really are. Oh yeah. Go Steelers!
