Martz Leaves Rams- : Due to a bacterial infection near his heart. Do the Rams have any shot at making the playoffs?

In that divison sure. Plus without Martz's bone headed challenges, ill timed time outs and pretty horrendous play calling they might actually be better off.

I'm with fade, I would say their chances are now improved.

I am Rams fan and I say good luck and God Bless to Mike Martz. You hate to see anything like this happen to anybody. I hope he gets well soon. That being said. I think it is time to really see what the Rams can do without him. I have no idea who Joe Vitt is or what his credentials are, but I can say one thing; anything has to be better than Mike Martz on the sidelines. Mike Martz is a genius as an offensive coordinator, but he is a complete turd as a head coach.

I agree with mcstan 13. I think this may help the rams, or it may hurt. If the assistant coach is well instructed(football-wise) and doesn't call horrible calls at important times, we'll be int pretty good shape. The plyaers have to respond to the call, and now is a perfect time.

this is one of those games where the team that scores the most points is going to win

MR MARTZ HAS RIDDEN THE COAT TAILS OF THE RAMS LONG ENUFF. HE WAS PART OF A WINNING PROGRAM --- NOT THE PROGRAM!!!-- HE ALWAYS FINDS A WAY TO LOSE AND HAS NO QUAMS ABOUT LEAVING MR. FAULK ON THE BENCH TO PROVE HE DOESNT NEED EM. GEE NOBODY WANTS ANYBODY TO GET SICK BUT THIS MIGHT BE A MOVE 2 YEARS TO LATE. HE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE REASON KURT IS GONE AND PROBABLY WILL NEVER PLAY THE SAME AGAIN.PLAYS THAT TAKE 4-5 SECONDS IN THE OTHER GUYS RED ZONE MAKE QBS WIVES WIDOWS QUICK. JUST ASK BRENDA.

I hope his health improves and he's alright, but as far as the coaching job he's done, it's borderline pathetic. The only thing carrying the team is the few remaining remnants from the Vermeil era. I don't really expect a big improvement with Martz away from the sideline because his assistants are poor, too. If they don't make the playoffs this season (especially in that horrid division) I'd like to see every last one of them gone.

For the record I just have to say I smile at the fact that someone agreed with one of my posts. First time for everything.
