The Onion gets all sweaty by adding sports to its mix of politically savy and scatological humor. "Terrell Owens Pre-Emptively Disparages Next Contract." People, there's mirth here. Oh, the mirth.

are they hiring?

This is the future of every SpoFite.

Oh, wow, I am excited about this......although it will put SpoFi smartassery to shame... Thanks Weedy.

Will somebody please shoot him and put him out of my misery? Not that it matters, after saying crap like that every DB in the league's gonna be gunnin' for him even more than they are now. He's gonna get injured eventually (with any luck).

priceless

*sniggering behind hand*

Uh...royce? It's a satire. TO didn't really say that stuff.

sorry, should have told you about my enormous sarcastic streak

And for those that do appreciate satire, Sportspickle.com has been covering this ground for a few years already, and I think with more bite. Headlines this week include: "Packers Schedule Uninjured Brett Favre for Season-Ending Surgery" "Cubs Management Not Sure How to Fire Dusty Baker Without Exposing That They're Racists" "Boring boxing match ends without a death"

Another good sports satire site is thebrushback.com

Sweaty onions. Mmmmm.

For the lazy, like me: Sports Pickle (which is a great site, but our t-shirts are way, way cooler than theirs) The Brushback And for sweaty onions, may I recommend a little Gold Bond on your boys. It makes all the difference.

Damn chico the pickle has some funny shit on the T.I.R.S.H. page. I've never seen that site before, thanks.

thephatphree.com also has some nice sports parody's as well. One of my faves was "Cheer for them, and I will punch you."
