Sam says that the T-wolves will miss him!: Cassel says that he is going to have a monster year and the T-wolves will be "at the bottom". Says that he was the reason why the T-wolves made the huge play-off run and why KG was the MVP. Surely no lack of ego in this man. So were Cassel and Spree scapegoats for a season gone bad?

Well, when he was a Wolf, his enormous mouth was part of the fun. I guess it's no surprise that the mouth still operates. With Sam and Spree both, I don't think the culprit was so much the men themselves as it was the effects of time on them. Although Spree didn't really do a lot for ticket sales with his preseason comments last year (now that I think about it, Cassell's weird contract protest at the start of last year's camp was also a PR black eye for the team).

He's 35, going on 36, with a bad back. Both he and Spree have hugely inflated opinions of themselves and their abilities. Best of luck backing up Livingston in Clipperland, Sam!

I enjoyed having Cassel the past few years, but now I'm just looking forward to a better looking team! < end necessary rip the ugliest player in ball>

Oh, come on, he was endearingly ugly. And when we had him on the court with Spree's Predator hair, it was sort of like the Wolves were fronting the NBA's first interstellar team.

So Cassell thinks that he is going to single-handedly push the Clips past the Wolves? Not a chance. Cassell has been lucky to play with two great big men in Garnett and Hakeem, who will be his great big man in LA? He's just bitter.

Any word if Spree has been signed by anybody? I havent heard a thing about him..Hope his family has enough to eat in the meantime! ;-)

Well I am going to miss the endearingly ugly Cassell, but as for Spree, I hope he fails miserably in everything he does. One time my friend askd for his autograph and at first he acted like my friend wasn't there, and then he snapped at him because he didn't go fast enough. Way to appreciate your fans a**hole!!

He probably was the reason the Wolves made the playoff run, but this move is about ensuring the future health of your franchise. They had to sign somebody younger.
