Respect the Game Ryne Sandburgs H.O.F. induction speech. Brings out the kid in all of us and a well needed reminder to our current player's. A truly gracious player, who remembers what is all about.

I know I am not well liked around here, but, given today's events, I thought this was appropriate. This speech says more than I can. I look forward to more debate, and hopefully, thoughtfull interjections. By the way, I'm a life log CWS fan.

Here's the text of Gammon's speech, which is similarly great. Also, the link in the FPP needs to be fixed. Why do you think you're not well liked around here?

Gammons'

i guess he didnt have much to say lol

Ahem. Spelled SandbErg. Here's the text of Ryne Sandberg Induction Speech...

Oops, Sandbergs'

Thanks smithnyiu. As I tried to relay earlier, this brings out the kid in all of us(for those old enough) , and should give current players something to reflect upon.

The fourth major league game I ever saw in person, I was in uniform Wow . . . I wonder how common that is? And whether it's more common in some sports than others?
