Liverpool: might have won the right to defend title!

HOE.O.K, not to be the criti-nazi, but I think most people read yahoo news and sports and have the opportunity to see this on their daily travels (you've only posted yahoo sports links to date). If you want to make SpoFi a good site, perhaps adding a more obscure link or two might help.

Thanks dfleming ill keep that in mind. But i was only posting my posts to create discussion on popular threads in this forum.Anybody can read yahoo news, but where can we discuss and share our opinions at,in a manor that we do here? Most posts here every sports fan knows about,or at least they have heard something, but i was under the impression that any sports story(be it a first time link)is postable here, and that they were only posted to create discussion no matter how popular of a story or where it is found(yahoo). But thanks anyway.

Should Liverpool be granted an exemption?.....YES..only because they won the cup and only because Real Madrid was granted a simular invite.Thats my opinion how do you like it.

Style-wise, I guess the point could be made that this topic is already being discussed in the CL Final thread given that there are currently three links on that same topic in that discussion that were posted earlier today. So it does seem weird to start an entirely new discussion on it when the news is still nebulous. And it does seem weird of me to come to this thread and feel the need to point this out. But it remains to be seen. I like the idea of the Welsh team having a play-in game vs Liverpool for their spot in the qualifying round. Have Liverpool earned a spot in the competition next year? I would think so. Have they earned the right to parachute into the final rounds a la Chelsea and Arsenal? Not so much. Could they at least get a spot in an early round amongst the minnows? Sure, why not. Work something out.
