Do you miss hockey?: You can relive the early part of the Great One's career by dipping into the CBC archives. Or ponder 10 lockout proof hockey stories. Or maybe you can find excitement in following a lockout log (from either SI or Yahoo).

Props to the Puck Update for the lockout log links.

Oh, man. Luc Robitaille is part of the announcing crew for the "highlights" of the virtual games on techtv. DO YOU SEE WHAT THIS LOCKOUT HAS DONE TO HIM!?

Fox Sports Net South is showing ten classic Hurricanes games. I can't wait. Just sayin'.

I will miss hockey when there's no MLB, NFL, NBA, or Premier League on television.

I'll miss hockey when it's daylight. Also, when it's night. And mostly any other time. I don't want my love of hockey to be colored by the fact that both these guys are being top-drawer pricks. Fuck Bettman, and Goodenow, for making me jones about hockey so bad I'm actually watching fucking baseball. This actually is a big deal.

I find myself not giving a damn about ANY sports by proxy of there not being any hockey (which always resulted in me watching SportsCentre or something). Anyway, it is Q4 in the gaming world, so I've got plenty to keep me entertained there. So, surprisingly -- it seems for a big hockey fan as I (*cough*profile) -- I'm not missing it much at all. As far as priorities go, it's pretty low on the list. It'd be great if it were there, but if not... meh.

I am counting down the days until the World Jr. Championships, though!

The Toronto Star is running box scores of the TechTV season—for the Leafs games, anyway. Those here who are also sick of Sportsnet's daily "lockout updates", please raise your hand. Thank you.

I'm not missing it yet. There is still plenty of college football, NFL and of course the World Series for now. Plus, the longer it goes the healther my boy Mario gets and he can start dominating on the NHL again when it comes back...
